Tortura opens with a set of ragged, filthy chords that resound with power & clarity; but the accelerated & bland Blasphemy riffs that creep in at times are unfortunate. Compositionally rather formulaic, yet at least the EP sounds ferociously feral in spirit. The drummer hammers the snare in desperation, while Tomas Stench barks in his billy-goat-gruff occult vocal style. The diversity stuffed into these four tracks make this EP totally fun!

Man , I am humbled by what I don't know . I'm just now discovering this band 8 years after it's release. Recorded in the eighties it's a perfect blend of seventies hard rock , NWOBHM, and early Maryland doom scene. This is really good !
